I haven't read any of your posts for a while; I'm glad I saw this one. It's brimming over with common sense. I'm surprised, though I shouldn't be, I suppose, by the proportion of responses toeing the Leftist line. I believe this is because the trans community was co-opted by the Left years ago. This is SOP for the Left: find a marginalized community, promise to help, promote a victim mindset, radicalize ... the corruption is complete. We are not the first group in America to have been corrupted this way.

The sports issue was always going to lose, because it's based on belief rather than demonstrable fact. Do I believe I'm a woman? Yes. Can I prove it? No. It's a slam-dunk. The only reason it survived as long as it did is because of incredibly perverse politicking.

There are fights we can win because -- believe it or not -- they are based on traditional conservative principles; and these are the fights we should focus on. Many of the things we want will not materialize until acceptance by the general public has reached critical mass, and agitation only pushes that day farther and farther away.
