Witchcraft is about intimacy with the gods.

People who don't understand Witchcraft, and people who seek power rather than the gods, think Witchcraft is about power and manipulation.

It is absolutely astonishing to me, how few people seem to understand Witchcraft! It's like how few people seem to understand Christianity. Seriously! Jesus says, "Love God, love your neighbor as yourself"; and, now, look what they've done with it!!

There are people, many people, who seem to be trying the same game with Witchcraft. Witchcraft isn't about manipulating other people, poisoning, murder, compulsion -- all that shit is crap, the vomitous produce of bitter people who have driven love from their hearts. Does this mean they can't work spells and harm others? Of course not; the natural world is predisposed to cooperate with us, just as cows and pigs and chickens let us mistreat them. We have an awesome responsibility, and some of us will answer for it.

I don't care what religion you claim to follow -- unless you're a Satanist, which is ridiculous -- love is the meaning behind all of it. Whatever doesn't proceed from love is worse than "sinful"; it's pointless. It's stupid, like hitting yourself in the head with a hammer.

Know the gods. If you know the gods, you'll get it right, in time. Life is very different from what they tell you.
